iCel is a highly permeable plastic casing designed for production cooked sausages and hams, semidry and dry sausages.

Advantages

The high elasticity of the casing makes it possible to fill the iCel casing with 12-14% overstuffing.

The high mechanical strength of iCel casing makes it possible to use high-capacity automatic and semi-automatic clippers, which provides for a high rate of production, and stability of the shape.

Microbiological resistance. The polymers used for production of iCel casing are inert to the action of bacteria and mold fungi. This improves the hygienic characteristics of both the casing itself, and the finished sausages.

High heat resistance of the polymers used for production of iCel casing significantly extends the temperature range of use of this casing in comparison with collagen and viscose-reinforced casings. The casing is resistant not only to high temperatures of smoking, but also to their prolonged effect.

The high oxygen barrier capacity compared to collagen and viscose–reinforced casings ensures the following advantageous properties:

• reduction of the oxidation processes, in particular, rancidification of speck;

• preservation of the individual flavor of spices in the finished products throughout the shelf life.

iCel M (EU), 30–120 mm - Matt casing with a good permeability for molding of sausage products

iCel Mko (EU), 30–80 mm - Matt casing with a good permeability for molding of sausage products

iCel C (EU, 30–120 mm - Glossy casing with a good permeability for molding of sausage chubs

iCel Cko (EU), 30–80 mm - For ring-shaped sausage chubs, all other properties being similar to those of iCel C

The iCel casing is produced with different degrees of adhesion, depending on the target product groups:

• iCel M, Mko, C, Cko - standard adhesion (for cooked sausages and cooked hams).

• iCel M-E, Mko-E, C-E, Cko-E – enhanced adhesion (for cooked sausages and cooked hams, for dry sausages, for semidry sausages).

• iCel M-SE, Mko-SE, C-SE, Cko-SE - super high adhesion (for semidry and dry sausages, for sausages produced from fatty batter).

• iCel M-EU, Mko-EU, C-EU, Cko-EU - standard adhesion (for cooked sausages and cooked hams).

• iCel M-EU-EP, Mko-EU-EP, C-EU-EP, Cko-EU-EP – easy peel (for sliced products).

• iCel M-EU-SE, Mko-EU-SE, C-EU-SE, Cko-EU-SE – enhanced adhesion (for semidry and dry sausages, for cooked sausages and cooked hams).

Colors: white, clear, claret, smoke, brown, salmon, mahogany, orange and others. Exclusive colors are an option.

Printing: 1 and 2-sided; multi-color; full color. Printing is made with solvent inks.
